How We Test and Compare Software
Every TechCurato page follows the same method: we check prices on the vendor's official pricing page and date them, calculate real costs for real team sizes, list each tool's downsides, and mark any figure we could not verify at the source.
1. Prices from the source, with a date
We read each vendor's official pricing page and record the date we checked it. Where a vendor hides prices behind a calculator or a sales call, we use recent pricing guides and mark those figures with an asterisk (*), so you know to confirm them before buying.
2. Real costs, not headline prices
Headline prices hide seat minimums, introductory offers, onboarding fees and usage limits. We calculate what a team actually pays: for 3, 5 and 10 users, on monthly and annual billing, and over three years for a growing team.
3. Limits that matter
We compare the limits that drive your bill: records, contacts, tasks, executions, automations, storage and seats.
4. Downsides for every tool
Every tool has cons, including the ones that pay us a commission. We list them.
5. Updates
Software prices change often. We review pages regularly and update the "Last updated" date only when the content changes. If you spot an outdated price, please tell us.
Reader reviews
Reader reviews on TechCurato come from real users who send them to us by email. We publish a review only when the writer confirms it describes their own experience and allows us to show their name, and their photo only if they send one themselves. We publish positive and negative reviews alike, may shorten them for length, and never change their meaning. We don't pay for reviews or offer anything in exchange. Pages may also show a tool's average rating and review count on G2, with the date we checked it and a link to the source; we don't copy review texts from other sites.
What we never do
- Accept payment to change a ranking or verdict.
- Publish fake reviews, ratings or user counts.
- Invent urgency ("offer ends today") that isn't real.
