How credits add up: a real example

Make charges one credit each time a module runs. A scenario with 8 modules that runs every hour uses 8 × 24 × 30 = 5,760 credits a month: more than 5 times the free plan, but within Core's 10,000.

Annual or monthly billing?

* From 2026 pricing guides. The savings are small in dollars, so monthly billing is a reasonable way to start.

Cost per 1,000 credits

At about $9 for 10,000 credits, Core works out to about $0.90 per 1,000 credits on annual billing. For comparison, Zapier Professional costs $26.65 per 1,000 tasks. The units are not identical — Make counts each module run, Zapier each action — but for most workflows Make gives far more volume per dollar.

Data transfer: the limit people forget

Make ties data transfer to credits: 5 GB per 10,000 credits a month, according to its pricing page. Scenarios that move files or large API responses can reach this before they run out of credits.

  • Trying Make or running a couple of small scenarios: Free.

Questions to ask before you buy
